Ojai Playhouse Relaunches as Awards Season Destination Under New Owner

The historic theater in the ritzy-crunchy Hollywood getaway town has undergone a state-of-the-art refurbishment and will open with showings of this year’s top Oscar contenders. “Studios know who lives around here,” says David Berger, the music industry impresario who bought the Playhouse.
